The Gentle Contours.

Oh, ladies and germs, I have found an utterly fantastic contouring product!!!!

Rather than ramble on endlessly about the product, I'm simply going to paste in the note I sent to the seller, Kristy Cutsforth of the Etsy shop Pumpkin & Poppy.

Subject: Fair Warning....;)

I'm about to post a MAJORLY GLOWING review of your Michelle Cream Face Contour.  I don't know what kind of magical, alchemic WIZARDRY you have done with this product, but It. Is. Awesome.

I LOVE it sooooo much!!  I just received it yesterday, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it!!  At first, I thought it could perhaps use just a bit more pigment.  But after working with it a bit, I realized that the level of pigment you've used lends itself beautifully to building and blending.

Seriously, it's contouring PERFECTION.  LOVE IT!!!!!

the creepy "fair warning" thing - I'm telling everyone I know about this stuff, so I hope you have it well stocked / on hand!! :)

I'm gushing about a contouring product.  Yes, I am!!

Here's what it looks like:

There you have it, lovelies!  This contour cream is THE SHIT.  Don't get me wrong, I still adore my NYX Taupe (pressed powder blush), which is a very popular blush shade used for contouring.  But for contour product in a cream format?  Oh lord, THIS is the one.

Here it is swatched next to NYX Taupe:

As you can see, the Michelle is much cooler than the already-coolish NYX Taupe.  Given that Michelle is a cream, not a powder, it of course applies and performs differently.  I find that there are times where powder contouring makes more sense for me, and other times, I like the versatility and flexibility of a cream format.

There are a number of very intriguing products in the P&P shop - and her products are vegan, 100% cruelty free and formulated for both sensitive and acne-prone skin, as well as for the skin of us who are ...ahem...of a certain age.  Ha!  My next conquest from P&P might have to be her Oil Absorbing Mineral Veil, though I'm not sure I can cheat on my HG finishing powder, namely Shiro Cosmetics' Fatality Finishing Powder (which is a friggin' miracle in a jar, truth be told).

Oh, Michelle Cream Face Contour, you *are* my Holy Grail cream contour product!!!

Note: OMG, I just noticed that Michelle doesn't seem to be available at the moment via the Pumpkin & Poppy store.  I'm fairly certain this is because as soon as she stocks it, it sells out.  At least I hope that's the case.  because if it's not, I will crawl into a contour-less hole and sob uncontrollably!!!

Peace out, y'all.

  2. I too use the NYX Taupe and got P & P Michelle and I totally agree with you .. its divine! Also, try P & P Oak Bark contour powder. Also the BOMB. I found Pumpkin and Poppy within the last year and I am a groupie. Her products are excellent. I always look forward to new things she introduces.
